A True Vision from God

    In 2004, while stationed in Germany, the Lord laid upon my heart the realization that our children are our best hope of turning a generation back to God.  We had poured untold amounts of money into Youth ministries with very little long-term impact.  I realized that I would soon be returning to the US to the largest military installation in the world, and where better to lay a foundation that would impact a huge number of military kids.

    I prayed and prayed for partners and I turned to my friend at Child Evangelism Fellowship and God laid it upon his heart to work with me.  Long story short – a year ago last March we teamed up and got some C.E.F. Children’s Workers down here and began “After School Good News Clubs” in three elementary schools, expecting about 5-10 kids at each school. Well – we had over one hundred the first day at each school.  Since last March we have opened up 3 more schools with weekly attendance of over 650 kids.

    All that is holding us up now is needing more workers and a place to train them, house them and provide ministry locations for Day Camps, Weekend Camps, Long term camps (1 week to 2 weeks), etc. We are now using back yards of volunteer homes for Back Yard Bible Clubs.  We need to keep these kids attached and involved year round in order to continue to Disciple them and encourage their growth.

    I have 1 more school on post that is ready to begin the Good News Clubs in the Fall and we have another 23 schools off post who are begging us to begin clubs in their schools as well (all schools where our military kids attend).  God has shown me very clearly that this will be His Flagship Mission Station from which we will send missionaries to all Military Installations around the world to establish robust Children’s ministries.

    In January 2008, God led me to a 64 Acre ranch here in Bell county that is perfect for the Kids Camp, training center, and living quarters for training missionaries for military children’s ministries.  We have walked the terrain on many occasions and have prayed for clarity and for God’s anointing.  I have no doubt that He has given this into our hand. (I only pray that I have not dreamed too small) 

First – I trust God’s vision and direction in my life.

Second – He has confirmed over & over that this work is HIS! (by the way this is so marvelously coming together).

Third – I dare not doubt His methods.

   Therefore – I know that the relationships that are miraculously evolving for His purposes are true and genuine and that I will never cease to be amazed at my God’s Pizazzzzz (His flare and exuberance).

    I hope this gives you a small insight into the marvelous Love and  Power of God concerning this burden for Military Children.  These kids are the next generation of sacrificial servants who bear true faith and allegiance to this great nation and our GREAT GOD!  Our heroes’ children deserve nothing less.
